Linda Cross holds BA and MA degrees in Religion from Baylor University and a Certificate in Baptist Studies from Mercer University. She also has a BA in Communications from Baylor.

Linda served as Director of the Baptist General Convention of Texas Laity Institute and more recently as Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Field Personnel with Baptist University of the Américas. In both capacities she worked with students of various ethnicities and adults of all ages, developing courses and teaching classes. Most recently she wrote a certificate course for Wayland Baptist University.

Prior to working in education Linda was in private practice as an advertising, marketing and accredited public relations consultant (APR) and agency owner. In that capacity she worked with large and small businesses, corporations, various religious, civic, local government and nonprofit organizations, as well as local and regional political and bond election campaigns.

For several years she was the house writer of daily reflections for Gold Label Publications, a sermon and homilies publisher serving primarily Catholic, Episcopalian and Lutheran ministers. She is the co-author of one business leadership book, editor of several books, and writer or co-writer of numerous articles and devotions for Baptist News Global, Good Faith Media and Reflections Daily Devotional Guide.

Linda is an ordained Baptist minister and a member of Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. For the past several years she has served as a Dallas County election judge for local, state and national elections.
