Fletcher Seminary Chair Rev. Stephanie Nash is pleased to announce the Board of Directors’ approval of a logo and color palette for the Seminary’s website, marketing and development plans. The Texas-based seminary nurtured by Baptist roots is fully inclusive, genuinely ecumenical and deeply theological.
Fletcher Seminary is an online Christian resource for students of all ages, faiths and gender identities seeking a progressive, inclusive and intentionally ecumenical learning opportunity. Board members, faculty and students come from a variety of protestant denominations, several states and both North American and African countries.
The logo features a globe with a cross stretching from pole to pole cradled by open hands. Blocks of color surrounding the cross suggest both stained glass and the diversity of locations and callings drawing and serving Fletcher students.
The primary color of the logo is indigo which suggests stability, trustworthiness and theological depth. The surrounding colors are terracotta reflecting warmth and hospitality with moss representing growth, renewal and vitality. Parchment hints at history, scripture and wisdom. Turquoise evokes beauty, water and life across cultures.
A new website is being built to reflect the intentionality of Fletcher’s ministry. Students who otherwise may not have access to inclusive and financially attainable theological teaching and research have the opportunity to earn a graduate degree or continuing education certificates. Classes and schedules for the Spring 2026 semester will be online shortly. Faculty profiles and other necessary information will be easily available and financially accessible for early enrollment in the spring classes.
